I'm excited to share some glimpses into the world of HEAVENLY MOVES over the next few months. My new novel is all about rock'n'roll, murder, mystery, lesbians, the 80s... let's start with rock'n'roll! I'll post some kind of artifact from the story each Thursday. (real? historical? from the alternate reality of San Tomas, the setting of the novel? a clue to the mystery??? hmmm...)
Here goes! In the book, the protagonist's best friend has a band called Bertha's Attic (Jane Eyre joke, anyone? :-)) and this was their first self-produced single:
